Ya, I got this one at Streettrends too recently. Surprisingly, it's good quality light steel, not plastic or urythane like the stock grille and so many other after-market facia pieces out there. However, there is one major issue: the perimeter of the insert does not match the inside diameter of the stock grille shell. Grille insert is way too wide all around by about 1/2" all around. So much grinding needed to be done in order for it to fit properly. Good thing I had a grinder handy, some time, and patience or I would've been pissed. The nice powder coat black was also ruined in the process. So paint prep also needed to be done after that. Took the opportunity to do it in satin to match wheels and trim. Actually, came out pretty good. Now need to prep and paint the replacement (plastic) stock grille shell that was ordered from fleabay. I wasn't about to butcher the stock grille piece when I could just buy a replacement cheaply and modify it. The experince I gained from doing the custom hood last summer really helped out here as it was easy to visualize how to make the insert fit, and then paint. I say this to let others know here that it's NOT a plug and play mod, which I thought it was going to be when I ordered it. The additional cost of tools, cutting wheels, various sanding equipment, and paint materials easily puts this mod in the $400+ range. Sheesh!!
