HEADS; Dart, Trick Flow, AFR, Brodix, etc.

He we go.
This is just for opinions on OUT OF THE BOX performance, no additional porting by anyone!
I know there are excellent head people out there, AI, Lloyd Elliot that yield amongst the best results.
But, this is for just a poll as to which company has the best " out of the box" head that is ready to bolt on.
Have fun.

If we talking all out best you can get then it would be the AFR 210cc eliminator racing head. I dont think there is a off the shelf head that flows more than this one for a LT based block.:D

I would also like to know :)

When the time comes for me to upgrade the heads, GM castings are out of the question. I want an aftermarket head with a thick deck, big valves and big runners but dont want to have to pay for a porting job on top of the head's price cwm9

I have been very happy with the performance of my stock out of the box 180cc Dart heads on my 383.. No issues. and running great.

Here is the flow chart done by IA on the Dart heads on my car straight out of the box..

I see dart is now offering a 200cc and a 215cc version also if you are looking for more

That's looks pretty good for "only" a 180cc head right out of the box.

I wonder what their bigger heads flow!

You never defined a use case. The 'best' (I use the term loosely) set of heads for an otherwise stock bolt-on LT1 with a smallish cam isn't even going to be the same casting as the best head for a higher compression 383 that is expected to make power up to 6500 rpms. They are part of a system that needs to be looked at as a whole, yadda, yadda, yadda.
