www.Slickdeals.net I've become an addict to this site, checking it numerous times throughout the day since I started looking for a new TV for my game room.

It's a pretty awesome website. In a nutshell, a bunch of nurds with no girlfriends spend most if not all of there day looking for deals at stores such as Target, Walmart, Bestbuy, Fry's etc...and when they find them they submit it to the site.

It takes the hard work out of finding good deals on all sorts of stuff and the best part is, is that there is a forum to bounce questions around and add input.

If you check it out, notice the LG 42" LCD posted today which I am now the proud owner of. cwm4 I'll pick it up tomorrow, saved $450 bux!!!

Also, the other day I found a logitech mouse, normally $35, shipped to Staples (free) for a 10 spot.

Enjoy..but be prepared to say goodbye to mod money!

Any one have an issue mounting the Altenator running comp cam rollers on aluminum heads. I had to go with a higher valve cover to clear the comp cam rollers. Now the valve covers are not allowing me to mount the altenator because it hits the back of the altenator. I had to grind down the groves on the back of my last altenator two years ago. My ground terminal came loose the other day and I think I my altenator took a dump. I dont want to have to grind down the back of every altenator I put on the car. Any one have any ideas or have the same issue.

Thanks for any suggestions. if you have the issue and figured out a way to mount the altenator with out grinding the back of it. send me some pics

Thanks

My car has been sitting for a couple months while I took my time installing a Z28 cluster and adding some sound matting. I took the car on a test drive to see if the Z cluster is where I wanted it. I noticed that I had a check engine light on,got home and pulled a P1661 code. I believe its a MIL Control Circuit according to my cheap ass code reader. Since I loaned out my FSM to a friend who is out Moose hunting,I'm unable to do any reading up on the subject. I also think my trans is shifting a tad funky, harder then usual and it also downshifts into first by its self around 2 or 3 mph. I'm wondering if the code is causing the trans to act up or I have 2 different issues. The only mods I've done with the car is a cold air intake, air pump disabled and a custom tune by Brian.

What say you?

After installed and settled, about 1.5 coils had to be removed (about 2 inches). Fender is now at 28" (with 255/45/18s). It could be lower, but I like it as is. It looks "right" to me, and better matches the stock height rear.

Just a note to let y'all know I am very happy with this coil spring (and "Boxy" Bilstein shocks) in the front of my '95 Cap wgn. Firm but not jarring, much better control than stock.

When I bought these springs almost a year ago, the listing I found was for a '78 Olds 88 with 350 Diesel engine, and A/C. here are the specs:
